Shallowford Iron Bridge
(pinhole photograph)

$25.00$50.00

This is a pinhole photograph of the historic Shallowford iron bridge (built in 1918) in Blue Ridge, GA. The photo was taken with a camera I made from an Altoids tin! The visual nature of pinhole photography and its connection to the origin of photography pays homage to the age and history of the bridge.

About Pinhole Photography

Pinhole photography is photography at its most basic. Pinhole cameras can be made from any light-tight container by making a small “pinhole” in it that will serve as the lens. I make many of mine out of Altoids tins and other similar boxes. The images are usually very wide angle, soft dreamlike images.

There is a wealth of information about pinhole photography available online. I recommend starting with Wikipedia if you are interested in learning more about it.
