Red Lake
(abstract photograph)

$45.00$295.00

This one is all about color, texture and composition… looks like ripples on a serene lake reflecting red light from city lights or a sunset. It is actually a close up of some red paint on the crosswalk button pole at the intersection Huff and Howell Mill Roads in Atlanta, GA. Luck for me, the pole had been sideswiped by a red truck; not so much for the driver of the truck.

abstract photos description

24"x XX" flush mounted (signed and numbered Ed. of 25): Images are printed on Fuji Crystal Archive or Kodak Endura photographic paper. This is the longest life photographic materials on the market today. I custom build my own frames that appear similar to gallery wrapped canvas paintings. The photo print is mounted to a custom built frame ready for hanging (similar to a canvas wrap in appearance). The print surface is clear coated for protection. This presentation reinforces the resemblance of the images to paintings.

4"x5" (6"x7' framed): (signed and numbered Ed. of 25): 4"x5" image floats in a custom built 6"x7" shadow box style frame ready for hanging (similar to a canvas floater frame). I custom build my own frames that appear similar to canvas floater frames. The 4"x5" print appears to float within the 6"x7" frame.  The print surface is clear coated for protection and the frame is painted black.

Traditional & Custom framing options are available. Please inquire, please inquire: [email protected] or 404.377.2555.

About the Abstract Series

There is extraordinary in the mundane — if you look closely enough, everyday sights that wouldn’t ordinarily be considered attractive or engaging can suddenly be transformed into art. These are photographs of my environment and are often mistaken for abstract expressionist paintings.

These images are not staged or manipulated. They are photographs of what we see and ignore daily… resurrected as art. All images are signed & numbered in limited editions of 25 and are available for purchase.
