About the Pinhole Photo Series

Pinhole photography is photography at its most basic. Pinhole cameras can be made from any light-tight container by making a small “pinhole” in it that will serve as the lens. The images are usually very wide angle with a soft dreamlike quality. I make many of my cameras out of Altoids tins. I use black and white photo paper as negatives, process them in the darkroom, then scan and invert them to positive in the computer.

Limited edition, museum quality, signed and numbered giclee prints produced with EPSON Archival™ Inks and Epson Archival Matte Paper. Mats are Tru-White™ core (acid-neutral/acid-free mat) with a very clean, bright white core. The core is the center, thickest part of the mat which shows in the 45 degree bevel of the mat window.

8"x8" mats have a centered window size 4.75"x4.75" and the actual image is 3.75"x3.75" centered with a white border leaving room for artist's signature and numbering.

12"x12" mats have a centered window size 7.5"x7.5" and the actual image is 6.75"x6.75" centered with a white border leaving room for artist's signature and numbering.
